Copy Backup to PS2 HDD

Using HDadvance 2.0 or higher, a slidecard and a backup, you can easily copy any backup/import game to your ps2 HDD, this tutorial will show you how simple it really is. Sorry I didnt show the disk tray but trust me it works okay? lol i was holding the camera im sorry gamers

This didn't work. But what I had to do was this (in HDloader 0.7c):

Put in legit DVD game. Wait a little bit. Go on install. Before continuing, do the swap with the backup game using the credit/gift card. Now continue and hopefully it will bring you to the type in name screen.

Say you have backups or games of PS2 on your computer, can initially put the games on the HDD and then hook it up to the PS2, or do you need to convert from an actual disk.

Yeah it works, thats actually what Ive been doing, but the point of the video was to show you that you can install a backed up game to the PS2 HDD.

do you have to insert the hdadvance disc to play the game?

I.use hd loader 2.0 and mine.installes back ups without using a slide tool even esr patched games.install and.play thought the esr patched disc have to play via hd loader wich is on the fmcboot memory card

this does not work for me. i am using HDLoader v0.8c and right now even if i swap it, wait for a little bit, use a legit DVD game before I put mine in or what not. it keeps giving me an error for "not a ps2 game".

@orochiaoshi But you never had to put a legit game in. I first had to have a legit disk in then swap trick it out for the burned one. When I tried it with no legit disk it didn't work.

yoooooo so all I dont need to use winhiip with only 4 g usb...its just like with ps1 games at the browser...does anibodi know how to compress a 4.6 gig iso so that it can fit on 4 gig usb ad be opened for use on winhiip

when you say a backed up game. do you mean a game you burnt on your computer then loaded onto you ps2 hd??
