They are wrapped and boxed for protection and if you are paying a premium price for a handmade product you want it to arrive in the state it was packed and not just thrown into a flat rate box with bubble wrap. My soaps have no chemicals in them and have built in moisturisers which are taken out of commercial bars. Only thing i dont like is that for a natural soap, it should use less wrapping paper and plastic.

Seems like a lot of packaging for soap. Doesn't appear to be very Earth friendly.
