Microsoft didn't copy Apple's Magic Mouse. Both companies had the concept in development, except Apple didn't shout out about it. They released it before Microsoft expected it.

How would they have managed to design and produce a copy of Apple's mouse 15 days before Apple even announced theirs?

Nice detective work, retard.

In a way, the magic a POC though. Apple are the greatest product company on earth, but do not fundamentally understand mice. They didn't even fix tracking on Snow Leopard. The Logitech mice are not as pretty as Apple mice, but are 50 times better. The ironic thing is Apple make the best keyboards on the market right now. Regular uses get confused by the virtual left and right click, it shouldn't need to explained to them.
