This video shows the base and final legs for my approach and landing at Mountain Air in North Carolina in a Cirrus SR22. 2NC0 is the highest runway east of the Rockies and at 2900 feet in length requires a degree of experience with high altitude airport operations.

2NC0 is a private airport and permission is required prior to landing.

  • MU2, Mirage, Barron, two Bonanza's and a Cirrus. I've got to come check this place out. That is by far the most fun asphalt rwy I've seen in the states. Country Club life, here I come.

  • Great video. Love that approach in.
