should be wearing gloves... reallly bad idea to spread bacteria and germs. Prolly should be using a clean wipe everytime too... There are rules you know... I think it's called Hygienics

I think the wisest and best thing with an infected area of this size is SEE A DOCTOR. I can't believe anyone would try to remedy this at home. No gloves, no sterilization of the skin surrounding it. It's just asking for more trouble.

Never ever squeeze a staph infection if it hurts and is like a hard rock under the skin. Keep it clean and covered. Watch for red lines or any expanded redness which means the infection is spreading. Soak with Luke warm salt water and dab it gently with a wet towel. If only blood is coming out then you're going to cause the infection to get into the bloodstream and then have this happen every 6 months or so forever.

I have three littler staph bumps below my wrist, any pointers?I had about 7 on my knee but they went away no prob, but the one on my arm won't budge.

Keep a close eye on them. Just the fact that you have three is not a good sign.
And I'm not sure but I would imagine there's more potential for damage in an area that has less soft tissue to protect the underlying muscle, tendon, bone etc... (if someone who knows could actually comment on this, that'd be great)
If the bumps (abscesses) get bigger, more infected, more painful, see a doctor immediately.

I was putting polysporin on it at the time as I thought it was a spider bite. Polysporin is an antibacterial, anti-infection topical cream.
