Shadow Puppets at Peking University

An abstract shadow puppet performance created and directed by Professor Joel Ebarb of Purdue University, and performed by students of Peking University at Democracy Hall, PKU, October 15, 2010. This presentation was part of Puppet Blast: Beida 2010, an intensive puppetry workshop sponsored by the Institute of World Theatre and Film at Peking University. Joel Ebarb is a professor from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, who was in residence at Beida (PKU) for ten days in October 2010 and worked with students in creating and presenting an evening of original puppet performances.
