We follow Sam, a security agent in a shopping mall. On a normal day, a bomb explodes.Sam tries to save the victims, until something terrible happens. He runs off till he falls down from exhaustion.
A woman's voice makes him raise his head. She's one of the victims he saved. She wants to know why the suicide bomber did it. Thereafter he runs into everyone he saved and feels that their defeat shows many parallels with his own. Even the confrontation with the wrongdoer isn't that straightforward as he thought it would be.He finds out that guilt and innocence can be pretty much alike.

  • i also watched this at tiff and it blew my mind its so visually stunning and the compositions fit perfectly into the movie. for people that love artistic films or just well done movies. it was not as shocking as ex-drummer but still had its scenes for sure. i also got to watch the q@a with the director and then spoke to him personally for a good 10 mins really nice guy.

  • So visually stunning. I loved Ex-Drummer for all its grittiness, humour, and creative flair. This one looks amazing. I look forward to seeing what he does with Chuck Palahniuk's book Haunted. Koen Mortier is an up and comer.
