highly highly highly recommend their ratio of masa to water, rest and cook times. i've been researching for quite a while on how to make a great homemade tortilla and this is the best one i've found and tried. dont change anything when you try the recipe. do everything to the T and you will be very impressed. thank you ladies.

so we use epicure salt, epicure masa harina, epicure parchment paper, epicure tortilla press, jut one question, where do you get the water from does that come from epicure too.?

I was wondering what else you can make form this masa harina stuff? I was thinkign of experementing with it an mixing butter and eggs to make cakes or buiscuits.

@probababably Hey I think most Masa Harina has gone through the nixtamalization process. I think a non-traditional version. Not sure though. If you know about the process though, I was wondering, after you drain the nejayote out, how much de-hulling usually has to be done? Also, when making the nejayote solution, is there a particular wood that makes the best ash for this? Much appreciated!

An easy mix. But for real taste you should nixtamalize your own field corn. It's not that hard!
