His wife???? I doubt that many children even knew who their fathers were back then.
Also doubt it was this bad in those days. I could survive off a nearby lake today if I needed to.
They always paint a bleak picture of life in the past. I would guess that men that seek to control us were more of a problem then as they are now.

@BRY7007 As far as I'm concerned, you opinion doesn't out way scientific data. Science always prevails over opinion. Haplogroup X is the proof in the proverbial DNA pudding. Kennewick man and the White Spirit cave mummy and the discovery of Negroid peoples found in Central and South America are proof that Mongoloids were not the first race here. Natives have oral traditions of other races here well before them. They massacred the men and absorbed the young and females into their tribes.

Conventional wisdom about who the first Americans were has been turned on its ear. With the advent of the decoded genome, scientists confirmed that the first Americans were Iberian (Solutrean) European. They arrived on the East coast 3500 years before American Indians. When the Indians arrived in America they encountered the actual first Americans, Solutrean Europeans. In an ironic twist of fate, the Indians decimated the first Americans and absorbed their women and children into their tribes.
