@songnight Your welcome! I couldn't believe it either after reading all these complicated fixes that didn't work, until I stumbled on this one that worked so easily. I felt like I had to share this with people since it seems as if there are many who have or had this problem. Happy You Tubing!

Worked for me and is very EASY for anybody! Type in ONLY the following on your Firefox address bar (about:config) and press enter.(That's a colon in between words).Enter. Will ask if you're sure, Click" I promise." You'll see your configurations. Scroll down to DOM Storage, which might be in BOLD, If it shows False, right click and then click reset,which will change it to True! I don't know anything about computers, but when I changed it to true, all was fixed using YouTube with Firefox 3.6.12!

I wonder if this happens with HTML5 and Youtube. I can't believe Flash still does this and there's no fix yet after all these years! I hate having to click somewhere to get my keyboard shortcuts working again. Thanks Adobe, no wonder why the iPhone OS doesn't use your technology!

This problem is specifically a foreground issue with plugins and applications for firefox 'stealing focus' of key controls, flash is the problem in this case.

All the little annoying flash problems have been fixed on the beta 2. I have no problems with flash now.

You must click outside the video to make the Ctrl-Tab work.
