Really rather glorious, this. Rodlington Stewart with Ronnie Lane, Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones tearing the arse out of Macca's 'Maybe I'm Amazed' in 1972. Marvellous as the original is, this really has something to it.

    Much as I like Ronnie Lane and everything he did when Rodney comes in he really just blows everything away. Absolute incredible vocals. If you also look at another two examples. Travelling Wilburys and Handle with care when Roy come in and also Pet Shop Boys with Dusty. In all cases they just take the song to a different level.

    I keep replaying this one. It has good vibes. Even when they were half drunk, Faces rocked.

    This is a perfect vehicle for this band. Written by another Brit, PMcC. It's a showcase for everyone in the band except Kenny. (Go to "I'm Losing You" for that.)

    Ronnie Lane outshines Woodie here.

    I can't help it, I love it even when Ronnie is off key.

    Rod too.

    I also love it when Rod says, "You're the only one that could ever HARM me." at around 6:00.

    That ain't Paul talkin' here.
