Outside Woman Blues

Blind Joe ( Willie ) Reynolds

Recordingdate : Nov 1929, Grafton Wisconsin, Pm 12927, Paramount Label and also for Broadway Records, Bwy 5106, same date.
The other side was/is Nehi Blues.

Note : Blind Joe and Blind Willie Reynolds might be the same man, but the evidence is not conclusive. And, as usual, Who Is Who ??? *smile*
However Eric Clapton did a version of Outside Woman Blues, in the band CREAM in the late sixties/early seventies.

Please enjoy !

  • The sheer rhythm of the man, no-one not even Ry Cooder sounds like this today.Incredible.

  • @kopilit Yes, I'm stuck in the old Blues, as an old collector. My motto is Keep The Old Blues Alive and that's why I'm here on YT, to share.

I listen to contemporary Blues too, but as a collector, you have to concentrate in a particular field, period, time and my collection is Blues 1902-1943.

Thanks for the comment and listening !

    Peace !

  • I love this song. thanks for putting up

  • This is a fantastic song by a great bluesman who is largely unknown. It's impossible to duplicate that soulfulness today.
