'God has a plan'

Remember the old tale. a man was in a sinking boat, and another boat came by and asked him for help. the man said "no thanks, the lord will save me". two more boats came by before the man drowned. when he got to heaven he asked god why he didn't save him.

"what are you talking about? i sent you 3 boats!"

Why is it be so completely ruled out that Mr. Natchwey's work and message is not a part of that plan?

'God' has sent messages through people before. Why not now?

People aren't shit, for the most part they try their best (even though it's not usually obvious). Thats just my two cents.

You are probably right. Who knows, maybe the higher-ups in religion (like nuns, and the pope) just want to cover the world with their personal DNA, but that would usually require sex on their part. (i'm just kidding around)

I just don't like the idea that people I have never met, or known will die left right and center because people I've never known are 'shit anyway'.

Life and death are unquantifiable abstracts. .A live body and a dead body contain the same number of particles. Structurally there is no is no discernable difference. The biggest problem that Earth faces is its overpopulation. With advances in modern medicine over the last century people now live way longer than nature had intended. To me, disease is just a natural way to control the population. Helping will not solve things. There is no end to this. Nothing ends, nothing ever ends.

modern medicine, if not used correctly, will cause mutations in viruses that allow them to resist treatment. viruses evolve in response to their environment just as much as animals do ... it's not a categorical error. Just like AIDS, viruses mutate over time and, if allowed to mutate, will become a huge threat to mankind!
