iPhone DJ - Control Traktor with your iPhone and TouchOSC

Control Traktor Pro v1.2 with your iPhone or iPod Touch running the TouchOSC app and these layouts from www.touch-control.com.

The controller works wirelessly over your WiFi network, using OSCulator to turn the OSC signals into Midi for Traktor.

could I use this in conjunction with a normal dj controller, for instance, use the fx pads whilst still using my BCD3000?

@immaculateweb Hi there - yes, this should work, although I have not tried it myself. The key to making it work would be in your Traktor preferences > Control Manager > and setting the inputs/output ports (top left of the dialogue box) to OSCulator, and similarly matching up your BCD3000 to their own ports. That way Traktor should be able to distinguish the different midi signals.

@Spielmannification - The latest version of the TouchOSC app has been updated for iPads so the Traktor templates should work, although being based in the UK, I have not had a chance to try an iPad yet. :-(

I am working on a gorgeous new layout designed specifically for the iPad. I hope to be able to show the designs next week on the website but sadly can't offer iPad templates for download until I've road tested them myself. Hopefully that will be the week of the iPad's UK release!
