I don't know why, but your sounds seem...odd. Look at my Wizardry 7 video and then yours. Your combat sound effects sound muffled and static-ey. Did you configure your sounds correctly? There is no clash of metal when you hit things with your weapon the way I hear in mine.

Yes, I know. I can't get Sound Blaster to work with the sound effects, just with the music. It seems to be a fairly common problem with W7 (people frequently complain about it in forums I've visited in search of a solution). Feel free to offer suggestions on things I could try...

Thanks for the advice, 1999nerd! I thought I had tried that (even though it didn't make sense at all) but apparently I hadn't. Weird solution, but it works.

ive never acutally played this game just wizardry 8 and it was awesome. From your vids this game looks very interesting

This game is such a classic, I love the music when you rest, it's so cosy.

Can't forget when I shat my pants when I fought that boss "Spot", the T-Rex lol!

Sorry for the bad rating; I was using my mouse left-handed and accidentally clicked two stars. I would have given it more, because it's very nice to get a chance to see this game.

"There is a cold dullness to the town of New City" - how more nostalgic about ye olde times can one get but upon seeing this line. That first building of New City, that road paving, the first brooding whistle of the wind, ... the endorphinic anticipation of the following.
