Lincoln Christmas Market 2008 Special Trains

**View in HD** A sequence of videos I took of the special trains which visited Lincoln in connection with the Christmas Market. Unfortunately due to work commitments, I did not have chance to film the HSTs on Notts-Lincoln services.

*47826 - SRPS Trip Lithlingow - Lincoln
*67019 67021 Top Tailing a VSOE Service from London Victoria
*66615 - Hauling a Humber - Kingsbury Oil Train
*Bullied Pacific Steam Loco 34067 "Tangmere" hauling a Kings Cross - Lincoln Cathedrals Express into the station.
[Filmed at High Street Level Crossing]
*Additional sequences of video feature the train moving out of the station to clear a set of points, and then reversing back through the station into the carriage sidings.

*67005 passing with a service from London Euston
[Filmed at Great Northern Terrace Level Crossing]
*34067 being loaded with Coal in the Great Northern Terrace Carriage Sidings.

Amazing footage, it was Meridians on the Lincoln-Nottinghams wasnt it? Never heard of HSTs doing it. 5*

Hi there,

Thanks for the comment :) It was definitely HSTs doing the Leicester - Nottingham - Lincoln shuttles, despite TRUST etc indicating Meridians the day before. I was in the station when one of the HSTs arrived.

The new Lincoln - Nottingham - London service is however being run by Meridians :)

There was a few strange turn-outs as 47826 was meant to have been repainted before this! If I knew HSTs were on the run, I would have gone to see them! Lincoln seems quite lively, I think if theres a new charter heading down that way I might have a ride on it. Cheers!
