Alright so in the end they said that they could reach the Dino. Time and the Dino. Was destroyesed by a huge meter so what I some how we creat a worm hole and a mistake happen and the meter some how slip inside the worm hole and destroyesed the whole process and we are set back in time? Just a thought

ok, what is up with the blur in and out?
if you can't show it, then don't, but stop with the bluring, gives me a headach
-
I imagine some, if not all of it, are his words, but someone else is obviously reading them. I guess using a narrator was an aesthetic choice, as maybe they thought it would be smoother or easier to understand for the audience. I have no idea how Hawking sounded before the disease took his speech away, but I remember him saying that the only regret he had about his voice synthesizer in the beginning is that it had an American accent.
-
Where's Hawking? is this his real voice, as it's not the robotic wheelchair talking?

science is awesome but scary shit at the same time we could fuck up everything...

If we even invented a giant wormhole machine then we wouldn't need to invent it because it would have always been there due to us using it to travel back in time in the first place making it exist there already. Perhaps we have already created a Wormhole, who wants to go find it with me?

so thats how dinosaurs died XD
-
@cjs2964 lol r u angry
-
@overworld12 Its a typo buddy get over it I could have criticized you for not capitalizing I but I didn't. Its very arrogant of you to look down on people much smarter then you because your can't wrap your brain around their concepts.
-
@cjs2964 i must be dumb because i don't know the word "intellignet"
-
@overworld12 People infinitely more intellignet then you.

ok... so SOMEDAY time travel is possible, so why dont people from the future come to the present now?
-
is that possible? and would the wormhole be in the same place just at a diferent time?
-
You can travel back in time if you can stabilse the wormhole. But for that you would properly need exotic material, with negative energy. And you can only go back to the moment where the wormhole was created. And since the wormholes only exist for a really short period of time, the possibilily of going back to the dinosaurs is none.

@overworld12 Read the title.

They shouldn't cancelled off Stargate Universe..
-
@MargaritaMeshini But today, we, are all "sons & daughters" of caveman, and we did make a rocket!
-
It doesn't work like that. If you traveled to a position you occupied yesterday, say a chair you were sitting in, does that mean that you exist in that chair a day in the past just because you were once in that same position at a previous time? It's not about just position, it's about attaining high speed and immense gravity to bend the space/time fabric back around on itself.

@spudsak He was saying that a basic physic principle is that nothing is flat and that it has crevices and little scratches. This basic principle also applies to time. I hope that helps.
-
remember when the world was flat
@gomezkenneth92 Trying to fathom time travel is like a cave man trying to conceive the idea of a rocket ship. The concept is difficult to grasp for now but no one can truly say where science can take us 400 years from now. We wouldn't use time travel to go back to the dinosaurs, but we would definitely need an efficient way to travel to other planets once the resources for life on earth are completely diminished. The fate of our species actually relies on this principle.

if you constructed a wormhole to reach the past on earth, ( like 3:51 ) wouldnt you have to travel unfathomable distances in the opposite direction of our planet, solar system, and galaxy to meet the earth where it was even a year ago?
