- - Here is the theme of the song - -
The girl emphasizes on her guy's importance in her life and recollects their good old days. They have distanced from each other and she yearns for him to break these differences and comeback to speaking terms.
You might wonder if this is a situation at all.. But these are real life situations and so we thought we ll just make a song out of it.
The rest of the lyrics is from an old tamil song Paarvai Ondre Pothume. It fitted the situation right and it was my long dream to create provide a different tune for the pallavi of that song..
- - Here is the translation - -
En Kannathin Kuzhigalum Unnale
(Your the reason for the dimple in my cheeks)
En Nenjukkul Aasayum Unnale
(Your the reason for all the desires in my heart)
Pesiya Vaarthaigal Orayiram
(We had spoken a thousand words)
Enniya Nodigalo Noorayiram
(And We had thought about each other a hundred thousand times)
Idayil Thiraiyai Vilakka
(To set aside this bad patch that has come between us)
Mozhivai Seviyum Inikka
(Please speak something really sweet)
Paarvai Ondre Pothume, Pallayiram Sol Thevaiya
(Just seeing each other is enough, Words aren't necessary at all)
Pesadha Kannum Pesuma, Penn Venduma, Paarvai Pothuma
(Will eyes ever talk, Do you want the girl or just the seeing)
I messed up the translation of the last few lines. Its kind of hard for me to put that in English.
@rosemolr Hmm I dont remember that. Do you have the link to it ?

Thanks mama. Percussion is one my grey areas and hope to understand and use it better. I am stuck with melodies now. Want to try a new tune for an old song because
1. Getting someone to write lyrics is hard. We don't get time to sit and discuss. This makes changes to it time consuming
2. In my opinion yesteryear songs have a better lyrical value.
Actually I have a song in mind from 2004 based on our college days. Probably make that one as a peppy number. Your comments are really motivating
