The 90's were a boom time, but were actually over inflated in value by shady market overestimation. The house bubble was equally beloved in it's time by Liberal progressives like Bertha. They wanted their "protectorate" to have home loans, no matter what had to be done. So the unrealistic deflated rates didn't bother them at all back then. Only now when reallity says that they couldn't have ever afforded a house, are people like Bretha getting mad about it. Well here comes reality Bertha.
