LEGO Robotics Academy Program

Area youth ages 10 through 14 explored science, mathematics and creative thinking through the use of LEGO materials as Owens Community College offered a new LEGO Robotics Academy Program.

Using advanced LEGO parts and pieces, LEGO Robotics Academy Program attendees learned to design, build and program their own remote controlled robot. The experiential learning activities used principles related to simple and complex machines, as well as gearing and mechanical advantage techniques.
