  • We don't need Arab unity we need Muslim unity.

  • I'm not sure what you consider "winning" a war to be, but the Israeli army was within shelling distance of both Cairo and Damascus by the end of the 73 war, not to mention the fact that they had trapped the Egyptian third army, and the only thing that prevented them from completely destroying it was diplomatic pressure. Israel had also rolled out their nukes...just in case.

  • thy are like a chicken fuck jewish

  • @kam3Oen Actually Israel was running out of spare parts and fuel and if it was not for Nixon giving aid Israel would have lost that war.

  • @dsperlin I don't think it was germane to the narrative. the war happened, it was done for this reason, and so on. what the Israelis were doing at the moment of a particular attack is not contigent for the arab nationalist project

  • I think al-Jazzeera did a mild amount of plagarism of Martin Kramer's Summer 1993 "Arab Nationalism: Mistaken Identity"... some parts of this are taken directly from his text, word for word, such as the unilateral action of Egypt in 1973 fighting "a strictly Egyptian war for the return of the Israeli-occupied Sinai" (p 189)

    hmmmm

  • @ratkumchase101

    We need human unity.

  • Interesting how they left out that Israel was attacked on Yom Kippur when people would be in synagogue and fasting

  • @macbrack So considering Europe's disgusting history of blood lust, I seriously doubt you're in any moral authority to claim that only the West and Israel will able to solve the issue of Palestine. Especially considering the fact that the whole problem was created by the West and Zionist colonialists to begin with. So how about you get your head out your ass and learn to not give in to your pathological Western tendencies of hating the "other" (Islam, Muslims) just for the sake of hating. Ok? Ok

  • @macbrack You have no clue what you're talking about. You're letting your pathological and genetically ingrained xenophobia spew pre-packaged bs courtesy of your Western ethnocentrist media. The Sunni and Shia have never killed each other until the 20th century. The Shia/Sunni divide is no where near the Catholic/Protestant killings that marked European history. The world's bloodiest wars BY FAR involved Europeans (WWI, WW2). Save for Pax Romana & post-WW2, Europe has constantly been at war.

  • HE WAS SMART TO RECONIZE THEM, HE GAVE SO MUCH WARRIORS FOR THIER CAUSE FOR WHAT? JUST TO SEE HAMAS VIOLENTLY TAKE OVER GAZA(WHICH WAS PART OF EGYPT) AND FIGHT AMONGST THEMSELVES. AND NO ONE LIVES FREELY IN ARAB/MUSLIM COUNTRIES ARE U SERIOUS? WHY SHOULD THE JEW OF ANY ARAB COUNTRY BE TARGETED JUST BECAUSE iSRAEL WAAS CREATED? WHY IN MY HOME LAND (MOROCCO)IS ARABIC THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE FORCE UPON US AND IM A BERBER? AND ALL OF NORTH AFRICA?
