In fact, He was not born Canadian. He was an American (New Bedford , Mass.) in the Canadian Army.
He became Canadian in the 70's. He has always considered himself as Québécois.

@ph036100 I knew he was born in the US but I didn't know it took that long to get his Canadian citizenship. So you must be Jocelyn? Your father was an incredible man, a true hero. You must be very proud.
Are there any inaccuracies in my video? Your father's story was so amazing I searched up as many websites I could find with any mention of his name, but I'm sure you would know more than I do!

for what I've viewed it is accurate. ( Dont' have much time. Right now, my life could be resumed in one word: multi-tasking.)
