Sounds like he might've had an influence on some country rock bands, a bit of
a Jimmy Messina, Poco, Firefall, Pure prarie league sound.

I never get tired of this song. I have lived in Albuquerque for 33 years, It was on a jute box at a place I worked and we listened to it several times a night.

I watched TNN's Nashville Now and it was always a treat when Jim was on the show. He still is an exceptional talent. He always appeared to enjoy being on stage and singing to the audience.
