Is it just me or does gears of war 2 seem to look better then most ps3 games?

They used higher res textures in this trailer that doesn't appear in GoW2 in game engine, like they do in most trailers.
Gears 2 is a good game, but the engine is showing age and Uncharted 2 now raises the bar 4 graphics of this gen. I was amazed by Gears 2 then Killzone 2 came out and amazed me, but Uncharted 2 really amazed me.
