Im from NZ. I think Wilkinson was bloody good in his time. Definitly one of the best 1st 5's back then. He could do it all mind you England had a very good forward pack back in those days and they definitly laid the platform for him. Still one of the greats. And he CAN tackle! That being said, prime Dan Carter will give prime Jonny WIlkinson a run for his money.

@100milliondollars101 my view is from a person with high standards when it comes to living in NZ and following the AB's, once a person like dan carter is made there is no-one near his sort of ability in all areas of the game,, he bumps and fends off props effortlessly as well as taking them down.. sure that may sound bias and probably is but no-one comes near DC, everyone talks about ronan o'gara being the best 1st 5, absolute crap, from what ive seen all he does is kick, never makes runs eithe

@reubenw59 nah mate, wilko is definetely a better defender. i dont see tributes or comments made on carters tackling as much as i do with wilko. Wilko has lost abit of his attacking flair, but hes definetely not a nobody.
