Why am I not suprised at American duplicity. Now, as to the Akaka Bill and it's ramifications. I believe that because of the Doctrine of Estoppel and the Treaty worked out with President Cleveland and the Queen that all contracts are suspect from then on. As Dr. Keanu Sai pointed out so elequently only births, deaths, and marriages are legal, everything else is up for scrutiny. USA could declare Diamond Head to be made of green cheese, a joint resolution, and it wouldn't hold water!
