no doubt an inside joke. Keith And Cooper were close friends and (correct me if i'm wrong please) called themselves the hellraisers club i believe. Theyd meet at a bar and try to drink eachother under the table along with other musicians on that scene and oliver reed (who played tommys father in the film)
