  • hard to tell but it looked like way too much

  • lmao you should probably watch some thermal paste installation videos before adding the whole factory worth

  • what is this i dont even....

    your doing it wrong...

  • No no no! You had to clear the cpu surface with a cloth+alchool, then after it dried, you put on a low amount of thermal paste not so much. Also, it's better first to attach the heatsink and then the fan on the heatsink. If you prepare the heatsink+fan system, you won't be able to work with accuracy.

  • so much paste thats not ketchup

  • DUDE it would take me like 3 years to go through the amount of AS5 u used... assuming I replaced that shit on all 3 of my computers, and both my laptops twice a month!!

  • no it is too much way to much man ! u got to have a very Thin layer of paste !!! not a thick one .. its a heat transfer so the thicker it is the slower the heat transfer redo it !!

  • 1 you put too much TIM on d CPU

2 you leave the caked CPU sit cathering dust particles and burpies

3 you attach the rubber vibration to the Fan first (match them up and then put them on the HeatSink).

4 you grub up the Direct Touch - attaching the LGA775 clips

5 you should take the Clear Protection sticker off last, just prior to:

6 where I didnt see and Compound remover(maybe not needed) but some (ASilver) Purifier might save you some flash corrosion on the CPU.

ps: you burn out your rig yet?

  • wow you put so much paste.. kinda too much
