I went to Thee Headcoats in Camden Town in the early 1990s and missed the first half. I spoke to Mr. Childish in the break & asked if they would play Commanche - I'd come all the way from Aylesbury to see the band. " We already dun that one" sez Billy. Crestfallen, I went to the bar & got a pint. Band started up 10 Mins late with... Commache! Billy I love you and your moustache. My band Stomp Shout play Commanche as well but Link would have said "Anything that rolls or strolls, baby!".

Nobody but Billy Childish should be allowed to cover Link Wray songs.
Bruce Brand is such a great drummer. He plays nothing but a 60's styled beat...no stupid post-60's anchronisms is his style like with so many lame modern garagepunk wannabes.
