Simone Felice is a soulful bastard.... Don't compare these guys with Dylan.... They're both brilliant and if these guys lead younger folks to Dylan then that's no bad thing!!!

Although both Dylan and Felice brothers are marvelous story tellers the comparison stops there for me. When the brothers sing they give me a feeling of accessiblity that Dylan hasn't. I see them hanging out with me and mine when they sing.

Hey, admittedly, I do get the Dyan connection on some other of their songs but totally not Scarecrow...you're right Simon's not Dylan though Ian has much more that feel to his voice. I know & love their music...they just sold out again here ...Damn i was soo hoping to see them before the rapture! Ha!
It's all good we both have great taste

I admit, on other songs I would make the Dylan Connection, but this one least of all. Ian's voice definitely has more the Dylan feel. It's all good. these guys are great. I know & love their music. but i still have trouble keeping mike & wayne coyne straight much less the felice family! they just sold out their show here again, Damn I'd hoped to see them before the rapture...ha!

Hi, I understand what yopu are saying, but:
In lots of Felice Brothers songs you hear definitely some Dylan (Roll on Arte,...).
Ian Felice, who is singing most of the time, has Dylan's "timbre" and Dylan's sound is often present in their work.
In this song however we hear Simon Felice, at that moment the drummer of the band, whose voice is indeed slightly different....
If you don't know the Felice Brotheres very well, check it out...
Hail Dylan, Young and The Felice Brothers! :)
