I have tried the phall (having taken both the vindaloo and tindaloo) and I find it hard to put into words. It's not a curry, it's a weapon. It commands respect. You must have it with rice, breads, and have some yoghurt on stand by alert. Now that's not cheating, it's common sense. All I can say is it really is as hot as everybody says. And then some!!! Last night I had a curry a lot hotter than a Phall from my local take away, it was called a chicken Ceylon, and belive me, it made a Phall taste as mild as a Kourma ( I know because I eat Phalls every weekend ).
