When you are in the area in which you howl a song to the golden wolf, hold 'B', and Wolf Link will expand the dark energy field, WITHOUT Midna on his back.

Also, if you attack towards the edge of the cliff, Link will have a delayed reaction of hitting it (watch the video to see what I mean).

The Midna "glitch" only works on the Gamecube version, because in the Wii version, Midna is on Link's back during this time.

...the sound is out of sync again. Just to let you know.

EDIT: After playing through the Wii version again, I noticed that Midna is on your back here (meaning the 'howling plain' in the video) after the Lakebed temple. This howling plain was a result of the Snowpeak howling stone, so Midna should have been on Link's back here...but she isn't (except in his shadow). If Midna is not on Link's back PHYSICALLY, then you should not be able to expand the dark energy field.

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is copyright Nintendo.

  • thats not a glitch

  • How is it not a glitch?

  • Is that an AR glicth?

  • Nope. I don't even have one O_o;

  • Is the sixth one at the city in the sky? I want the last skill.

  • The last howling stone is in the Hidden Village, behind the building on the right (left on the Gamecube version). The wolf will appear in front of Hyrule Castle, ready to teach you the Great Spin attack.

  • I don't think this is a glitch I think

  • no it's normal. It's for if you would escape to the other Wolf.... wait.... aaaaaa you talk about the attack? Oh yes, it's normal too because you can do that but if there was an ennemy, Midna lock ennemies and you can attack. And in this place it's not necessary. Sorry for my bad english cause i'm french. ^^'

  • i have the wii version and this happened to me, so it doesnt only work on the GC version

  • I never saw Midna on Link's back in the wii version?

  • wat isnt fair about the gc version that the wii version does have is that u can hold 4 items there while for the gc only 2

  • no they created the gamecube version first the game was meant to be gamecube only but then the wii game out so they transferred it to wii aswell thats why they say the next game will be wii only this time =]

  • Actually, they made (started) the Gamecube version first. Later on, they decided they wanted it as a Wii launch title..blahblahblah. Nintendo isn't that nice.

  • they created a gamecube version because that was when wii first came out so they made it for people who couldn't afford the wii at the moment and it wouldn't sell as good if it was only for wii

  • lol

What's so shocking about it? XD
