This is more bad preaching. If you really look at the bible, The purpose of our life here is not comfort or community. The purpose of our life is to know Christ and have that relationship with him first and then a community. Ortberg is a false teacher because he stresses comfort here on earth more than knowing Christ. This is what's wrong with church, too much community and not enough Christ. It's more about living in that Christian bubble.
