My name is Dimitar Petrov and I love dancing. I am a professional choreographer of Bulgarian folk dances, a graduate of Music, Dance and Art Academy in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Website: http://folkdance-bg.hit.bg Ive been a professional dancer at one of the best professional ensembles in Bulgaria Ensemble Trakia Plovdiv. I had one of the best dancing teachers prof. Kiril Djenev. In addition during the last ten years Ive been a choreographer of Children and Youth Folk-Dance Ensemble, where we train about 250 children at the age of 6 to 18. I also organize dancing lessons for adults twice a week. I have been a guest dance-teacher at seminars for traditional dances in Austria and Hungary where there is a great interest in Bulgarian dances. During the last several years Ive been organizing folk seminars for groups of foreigners in Bulgaria. These are people who want to learn Bulgarian dances, to play a traditional Bulgarian instrument, to see our beautiful country, to visit some historical places and above all to have a great time in Bulgaria.
