  • its the real dress, this isn't a "test" dress fool.

  • @BlushResponse1 This is the "test" dress even though it is not made out of muslin. I had cheap polyester satin that I had no use for. Since it was similar in weight and drape as the actual fabric (silk/rayon) I used it. Cotton muslin would not have behaved the same. When making a "test" garment it is best to use fabric that is similar in weight and drape.

    BTW, PLEASE DO NOT INSULT OTHER PEOPLE when they make a comment. It's an example of what American has become....Rude, crude, & tattooed.

  • While spendiing so much time with this dress form in making 2 wedding gowns, I have named my dressform, "Emma" and created a "personality" for her. This came in handy when relieving the stress that is a natural part of making such an important gown in someone else's life. In all, this project took some 4.5 months and at least 400 hours. The wedding took place this past weekend 10/6/07 between my nephew and his fiance, Lisa. I'm glad you enjoy the video.
