In July and August of 1983, Phil Lynott was able to take a break from Thin Lizzy's farewell tour and do some solo gigs in Scandinavia. He named the outfit "The Three Musketeers" and was joined by John Sykes and Brian Downey. Filling out the group would be Mark Stanway (keyboards) and Doish Nagle (guitar), who would also be a part of Lynott's post-Lizzy group, Grand Slam.

"Look In These Eyes" is a song Lynott debuted in 1983 while on his solo tour, and would also be played periodically in Grand Slam. Alternate titles include "Young Boy" and "No More". This is taken from the disc Live in Sweden, which was recorded 8/5/1983. Enjoy.

  • I thought this was a gs song. Better q thank gs one I have.

  • Grand Slam did this song a few times...it's on the "Live 1984" release, probably titled "Young Boy". I also have an even later version with Steve Johnson titled "No More", but it's all essentially the same song. It was first played with the Three Musketeers though.

  • i just LOVE this song. i allready have it but in a very poor live version (you can bearly understand it). thanks!

  • I'd hang onto that live version though. I have several versions of this song (a couple of which where I'm not even certain what show it was) and while they have a few issues sound wise, every single one has a different lyric. I might get around to posting another soon.

  • love this one

  • i love!!!!this song!!

  • It took me years searching in all the little cd shops around Dublin but I have finally found the Grand Slam collection with this cd on it. It ment doubling up on two cd's already in my collection but I'm still very happy, the price was amazing.

So what else is there or is this it? I have the radio interview with Phil from the the studio sessions cd and one ore two bootleg tapes but is there anymore cd's out there worth getting?

And thanks a micka for putting this up.

  • How many different titles does this song have?

  • I think John Sykes best work was what he did with Phil Lynott, than his own work with blue murder and sykes, and then whitesnake

  • I personally think this is one of phils best songs after lizzy

  • Amazing...

  • Cracking song..
