He might have meant the 3-6-10.

Bowling must have been alot tougher back then. The first 5 minutes of this video there are no strikes!

Wow I went from watching Pete at 17 in 1980 to this. What a difference 5 years makes

Wow, did you hear Bo call Pete a "mild-mannered young man" around 0:14? Not so much, lol!

wow this match featured a lot of mistakes by Nelson Burton Jr. and he didn't even correct himself lol! For example when Pete Weber left the 3-6-9-10 Burton Jr. said that he cut right through the heart to leave 3 pins then he says the 3-6-9-10 is a lot harder than the 3-6-9! What the heck?! Then when he said that Pete Weber might throw the ball in the channel, HELLO he was playing very straight up the lane and not even near the outside boards. He was playing between 2nd and 3rd arrows. Like wtf?!

Wunderlich had a 146 game in match 2? Holy shiat, lol

There was pressure then. I was only one, and that was before I started to get into bowling. I'm not going to sing that song however.
1985 was the first year with the big bucks on the PBA. $1 million for winning the three Miller Lite events, and $100,000 for a perfect game from True Value Hardware.

That's right. Which is why they started the telecast with the song 'The Heat Is On'.
All together now...The Heat Is O' O' On...
Haha. Thanks for commenting.

Peter Weber is still great a player to this day and his father Dick was a statesman for this sport and will be missed greatly

I met Dick Weber briefly when he came to the UK in the mid 80's. To this day I regret not having a photo taken with him.
