Unforgettable Goal

This spot highlights Darren McCarty's 1997 Stanley Cup-clinching goal. McCarty was known more for his fists than his scoring ability, which makes the goal that much more spectacular. This cup clincher also returned the Stanley Cup to "Hockeytown" after a 42-year drought.

@RandyMossBlows did u get anything from the video? he was not not a goal scorer by any means really, never had a 20 goal or a 50 point season in his 13 year nhl career, so obviously he did not have great hands. then on the biggest stage possible (besides games 5-7) he scores an elite goal scores goal to ultimately win the biggest reward in the nhl, the stanley cup, for the red wings. of all the people to score that kinda goal, he would probably one of the last people would have suspected

@RandyMossBlows Yeah I know. It was only the best goal of his career and it sealed the first Wings cup in 42 years. And he not only juked a defenseman and goalie. Right, totally overblown.
