This altar was created in Rememberance of my Mother. Although this is a Traditional Event, I have chosen to be Non-Traditional. When creating any altar, it needs to be created for those spirits that have passed. When the spirits arrive to their altar what belongs to them is what attracts them. So, since my mother was born into an Army family, she was worldly and liked many things. Nature was one, crocheting was another, tea and sushi were her comfort foods.

This video is dedicated to the people she has loved and loved her back.

  • at :34 I meant "All made out of Vellum... sorry guys.

  • @pmondoy I know what you mean. I will be adding more next year. This was quite an emotional experience for me - as was you, I am sure. Thank You.

  • I love your approach to your alter. A part of me wanted to make the entire altar be just for my mom, but I also needed to have the others up there too. Next year, there are a few more I need to include.
