Sounds like a poor connection at the exchange was causing high packet loss. That will kill just about any website, especially video streaming or any kind of file downloading.

It will be interesting to see how the conservatory project goes. There's not so much of that over here. I guess gardening is an English thing ;-)

Yeah, I think one of the engineers made a change that caused the problem. Still having a few quotes, it's not going to be cheap for the size I'm after, so need to ensure I get a reputable firm at the right price. Lots of cowboys in the window trade unfortunately.

I'm telling you, that phone call was so frustrating.I wish I'd recorded it. I nearly lost my temper with the guy at one point, luckily he kept putting me on hold so I would cool down :)
