Internet withdrawal

I had no Internet for nearly 5 days due to incompetence by my ISP. I've since been on to them and got a refund for my phone calls to the support line and for the loss of days' connection. I'm also thinking about a new conservatory but it's a double glazing jungle out there.

Sounds like a poor connection at the exchange was causing high packet loss. That will kill just about any website, especially video streaming or any kind of file downloading.

It will be interesting to see how the conservatory project goes. There's not so much of that over here. I guess gardening is an English thing ;-)

Yeah, I think one of the engineers made a change that caused the problem. Still having a few quotes, it's not going to be cheap for the size I'm after, so need to ensure I get a reputable firm at the right price. Lots of cowboys in the window trade unfortunately.

Such a bugger. I am happy to hear you have your internet resolved, nothing sucks more then not having a connection.

I would be interested in your Series if you do make one, I want to see the progress of your conservatory when you have a go at it. :D

I'm telling you, that phone call was so frustrating.I wish I'd recorded it. I nearly lost my temper with the guy at one point, luckily he kept putting me on hold so I would cool down :)

I don't think I could be without the internet for that long a time. Sounds like the so call "Tech" person didn't know squat. Don't those type of people annoy the crap out of you.
