  • As much as I respect Skillz as an artist, he is NO businuess man if he was, then he'd be finidng the next everything. Opinions are like...well you know the cliche. I just think that rather than complaining, he needs to go find the solution to this 'problem'. Personally I think the only issue here is people ain't got the drive like a '93 Puff did. I heard he used to travel from D.C. to NY working for Andre while attending Howard Univ. Cats just need to work harder and stop complaining...2 cents

  • Well Soulja did alright for a kid but hes not and I dont see him ever being at level of Jay or someone along those lines. 50 and Kanye r only guys who r building for themselves. What skills said is true u cant be embrassing you workers with cheesecake and all that. On another note vote these guys today need to know you can keep true, still be yourself, and sell records to the general public. Thats what Big or Nas did

  • I always felt the same way about eminem....not to make it a racial thing, but Em has said how hard it was to make it as a white rapper, so then when he made it, why the fuck he cant reach back and help another rapper realize his dreams. The game is fucked up....erybody scared to get shown up and they sign wack shit to avoid givin up their spots....

  • Sean man, talk to me! Are you still alive! This is Siki btw :P

  • Biggie was popular back in the '90s, and wouldn't get signed if he started today: because fifteen years ago, the music market wasn't controlled by 13 year olds and their mobile phones.

Diddy and Simmonds go for what makes them money, and these days what makes money is anything which you can brand. They have no reason to make new brands because it's more effort.

  • But the guard in 94 didnt give Puff a chance. Bad Boy, Rocafella and WU created there own lane and the industry moved to them. We still waiting on the the new "Dudes" No one supposed to let the Jay in. He supposed to take it. Its not supposed to be given.

  • On the real, all these crap niggas know the deal, well said

  • OH shit its dame dash and stretch...

  • Damn. He just kept it 100.

I don't know how anyone can frown on what Skillz and his dudes are saying.

The way I see it, "someone" is going to come through and do some damned music and blow all this weak shit up out of the water. These 1/2 2/4 4/4 Ghetto Space Noise tracks and drowsy lyrics CANNOT last, it's just too weak.

"Something" always happens whether the people on the top have anything to do with it or not.
