*DISCLAIMER* YES I messed up and for whatever reason put the wrong picture for the Sweet Adelines. MY BAD

This is simply an informational video I had to make for school this past year on barbershop music. The quartet is me on all four parts, it's a piece I wrote called "Croonings of Old". Before I get completely narked on the tenor parts, please understand I am in no means a tenor. I'm about as low as they come singing wise. Thanks to Garage Band for the recording stuff.
ENJOY!!!

  • Haha! What's the name of the tune at the beginning of the song that is played by that piano.

  • Lol, I honestly don't know. If you look up any of the Family guy clips with the two Vaudville non-sequitor people, you'll hear it.

  • Thanks for telling us "all there is to know" about barbershop. I do have a question though....where did you get the chords for your little song at the end? Most of it were actually not good chords at all but a lot of doubles and the bass and lead singing the same parts.

  • What can I say? I'm a fan of octaves, always have been always will be ;)

And as for the song being rather basic, there's no way this 17 year old high schooler could ever begin to write a song of the same magnitude as "Coney Island Baby" or "When There's Love at Home" in a week.

    But thanks for watching

  • Thanks for the lovely feedback
