Secret Shopper Scams! How to find out who you can trust

The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs has received numerous calls about secret shopper scams. While there are legitimate secret shopper organization, many of the advertisements, e-mails, and unsolicited telephone calls and mail concerning work as a secret shopper is bogus! This video explains how to avoid and detect secret shopper scams. Resources for finding a legitimate secret shopper organization are also provided. Thanks! I just got one of these letters....I had a feeling it was a scam. I received a check for $2950.00 and I was asked to wire money to the UK...right! I thought to myself, and if this check is fake, I will be stuck paying back the bank! Another thing to watch out for, My bank did not hold the check!.............I'm stopping the check today! Thanks again!

The pay is less than minimum wage and you don't even get your gas money back. You work 3 hours to get paid $10 - 25. The only people that make money are the marketing companies that hire you! Scam!

you know, i got this scam knocked on my door.

and i figure it out right away. so i want to punish those bastards...and you know what? it seemed to hard to do it legal way. All i had is call here, call there. or follow there.....

government need (if they really want) create an easy way to file a complain about this kind of stuff. at the end of the day, if you got caught in scam that's your fault l;don't be naiev, itst real world out there. USE your head!
