Here's a neat little shadow box that gives you a chance to use some special wood you've been saving. I've made mine with a mirror in the back, but it would be just as nice without. Visit www.WoodworkingForMereMortals.com for lots more easy woodworking projects.

The shadow box vid is my favorite and i watch all the time; the skaher inspired coat rack is my nxt fave, mostly cuz of the drawers....

Also, the shadow box is the first thing ive ever built, aside from a penny board i made in shop class when i was in the 7th grade....a penny boar is just a board with 2 1- inch holes on either ends with pegs in the board as defensive blockers, and the object is to flick the penny in the opposite end hol..... :-)

@STEVINMARIN...i jst made a shadow box following your steps, and im going to order the zebra wood cause i think it looks sooo good......it wont be finished for a few weeks due to the zebra wood being in the mail!!

This might not be the best place for this request but I wanted to give it a shot: I have a rough idea for making a small box with a "hidden" locking mechanism and would like to hear your thoughts and hopefully a how to video. Thanks in advance
