  • played w santana 74-75 did not even fit w the band to wild splashy! was he even trying to tell carlos santana to replace the great conguero armando peraza your wernt even in the league of the greatest latin rock band of alltime!!

  • Great Lesson in Rythm by a True Drum Master.

  • Truth!

  • The second line stuff always reminds me of Stanton moore.

  • @fnkdrmmr point is, anything to do with ancient times/peoples/patterns is purely theory, and a fine theory at that - but there ARE no ancient records that work to a modern standard. We're all the same is all I'm saying, and our music too. Music is generally spread through some kind of religion. Sacred music comes from folk which means 'people' and is the origin of all music, rock and otherwise. At a certain time, blacks were slaves; at another time, whites were slaves...everybody has repressed.

  • @fnkdrmmr that could be true. it could also be totally not. we talk about how jesus (this is not about religion - im using a figure everyone's heard of) was actually black. what are we calling black? the people of that area were not 'west african' or remotely afro-caribb-lookin. i mean, look at where jerusalem is/was!

  • @fnkdrmmr right, except we don't know that. ask Dusty Springfield's brother, who goes to schools all around the world to educate, amongst other things, how it's not worth crediting certain sounds to certain races. he played us what sounded like the whitest west european sacred music, which turned out to be from what was french africa. he then played amazing grace, pointing out how in america that is seen as a classic 'black 'church piece for solo voice. however, it is an anglosaxon traditional.

  • @queenmcsleaze Also, Black people have been on the planet, as long, if not longer, than Aryans (NOT WHITES) from India.

  • @queenmcsleaze I did NOT say black people invented Soul. I am professing that Black HAVE Soul along with other dark peoples living closer to the equator. America has successfully convince the world to discredit it's underclass (Blacks). Blues and early Rock n' Roll was originated by guys like Lil' Richard and Black musicians from New Orleans and that part of the American South.

  • @fnkdrmmr yes but the point is, those african and west indian countries got THEIR rhythms from aryans and christians (i dont mean 'aryan brotherhood' i mean the proper old word) that comes from hindi and arabic stuff

WE'RE ALL THE SAME. BLACK PEOPLE DID NOT INVENT SOUL. No-ONE did.
