  • Nice version man and sweet guitar. Trad. is my favorite composer! So many awesome songs out there are traditionals, and Mike is right, this is one of them. There may be a copyright on the arrangement, but, the song was written by some poor soul long ago who had no clue we'd be putting videos of his song up on the internet. He probably died lonely, broke and drunk. Nice job. :-)

Oh yeah, what's with the foot? Maybe that's the guy who wrote Dark Hallow. lol.

  • cool bro thanks for the info!

  • I just di dsome research. Many recordings credit it as "traditional." Some sources credit "Bill Browning." What is likely is that Bill Browning took some traditional lyrics from other songs and made a folk adaptation for which he saught copyright. Many traditional songs have been re-arranged and then copyrighted.

  • No, it's traditional.

  • No, it's traditional.

  • No, it's "traditional."

  • No, most certainly, Bob did not write it. It is what they call "traditional." That means that it was a folk song that had been passed on from so long ago that no one knows who wrote it.
