This is a work-in-progress app for Interactive3D assignment for my uni. It shows real-time water ripple generation with reflections rendered using OpenGL. All the wave physics calculation is done in custom vertex and fragment shaders as well as reflection image displacements.

  • Any downloadable material for this? Dose this course have a site with some notes? if yes and if it's possible please link. Nice work .

  • Make a copy of the model and use a method where you only see it through the surface.

  • Not bad at all. However I think real waves would decrease in amplitude as they propagate from the initial point (energy conservation). The reflection looks really good though.
