OH, i AM SORRY, I guess is misanderstandig here.
What I can see from here is two specimens of wood without combinations, not forbedeen by law.
Ypê (Ipe, Tabebuia SPp, Lapacho, Brazilian walnut ) is a very valious & beautifull dark hardwood.
It is only my taste, I would never combine in the same place this to so different woods, just a comment, I do not take it like, for me this Ype deck deserves a better combination.... I dont like the irregular cut of extinguish natural trees..

That is red cedar, not pine. It's no longer a crime to mix Ipe and cedar in Brooklyn, NY
