The ones causing the division are those that call themselves Christian but do not follow Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke about the righteous judgement of God on Sodom and Gomorrah many times in the Gospels. Is Christ divided, therefore? Or why are there 'churches' (the living Church of God is the body of Christ) that don't follow God's law and Jesus' teachings?

The ones causing the division are those that call themselves Christians but do not follow Jesus Christ. How many times did Jesus mention God's righeous judgement of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Gospels'? Is Christ divided, and if not, why is His body (the Church) on the issue of sodomy? But if sodomy is sin, the living Church of God should take a stand against it.

romans1:27~Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion its not talking of sex, it is talking of the hatred between men.

The Bible also says to seek out those who cause division and AVOID THEM! It's clear that the picketing church was only there to cause trouble. And... don't they have a church that they should be at this sunday morning! Clearly they have their priorities mixed up! Small town idiots...

Rosemont419: Forgiveness is conditional on the sinner's repentance. You will not enter the Kingdom to be 'forgiven for all your sins." Sinners will not enter the Kingdom at all, only the righteous. (Matt 14: 41-49) No repentance, no entrance. Read more than parts of the Bible; read all of it over and over, for "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." (Ps 119:105)

Rosemont419: Is God being 'loving and welcoming? Jesus began His preaching with 'Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand!' (Matt 4:17) Repent means turn away from and utterly forsake sin in your life. Jesus shed His blood for us; God does NOT 'accept us as we are' (wicked sinners). He welcomes those letting the blood of Christ cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 Jn 1:9). To abide in God's love, we must obey His commands (Jn 15:10).

Rosemont419: God considers homosexuality 'such a sin.' He created man and woman to be united as one flesh as His natural order. Homosexuals wickedly reject God's order, perverting it by indulging in same-sex unions. God calls homosexuality 'unnatural' (Romans 1:27), 'gross immorality' (Jude 7), an 'abomination' (Lev 18:22). So exceedingly grave was the sin of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 18/19) God completely destroyed them as an example of ungodliness (2 Peter 2:6).
Romans 1:26-27 (New Testament)
"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Heh, no James, I'm not avoiding it. I just wanted to make sure my question was answered before answering a new question.
I'd still like an answer for the previous statement I made: "You should have a Scriptural basis for your decision to publicly issue statements against our church" for its activities.

I believe there's some issues with YouTube...those comments were approved last night. The reason we limit the comments is because of people who post things like this: "Luke Otterstad blows goats". As long as they aren't obscene, they get posted.
The comment "No, none of us believe that" was in reference to the allegation that one of us believe we haven't sinned since the '80's.

I grow weary of this argument, and have better things to do (homework), as I am certain you do as well. It is obvious neither of us will get anywhere towards convincing the other of his argument. Yet, there are two last questions which bother me. 1) Where were you guys the last 3 days? That's why I lost the mood. 2) Is it true one of your leaders believes he has not sinned since the 80s?
