When Mohamed was a "prophet" he generated thousands of followers that would kill for him, conquered the entire arabian peninsula, had many wives as young as 9, ruled over a kingdom, and died a powerful and wealthy man. He gained greatly from conquest and being regarded as a prophet. When Jesus came to the Jews, he lived his entire life a poor man and never gained from his teaching, and he died at the hands of those he came to save, and forgave those who killed him. that is my story as well!.

not knowing the LORD, i went to a small group once. the believers in Jesus there prayed for me. i experienced LOVE, a love greater than what they had. it was God's love in them, around them and me. wave after wave poured over me. it released me from bondage and held-back tears.

I feel comfortable with my faith in my heart. I don't agree that you have to go to a priest to confess your sins. It should be through Jesus in prayer, I have faith. But, know one can say

In my opinion it is a personal thing between me and God. I was raised catholic. But, I don't consider myself catholic.  Faith is in our hearts. I got baptise when I was a little, I did not know

God says you can not take away from the Holy Bible nor take away from it. He also says it is wrong to follow traditions if they get in the way of his laws. People are to be baptized when they can make the conscious decision to follow Christ and that the individual knows Christ was the Messiah whom sacrificed his own life for yours and was risen by God on the 3rd. Day. A baby can not do that.

Catholics baptize babies. Become a Baptist instead.

Technically a Catholic is a Christian. I'm Married to a man that was raised Catholic and I'm Baptist. It's a very touchy subject.

So far we found these differences.

Baptist church- does not put emphasis on the Virgin Mary or Saints.

Catholic church - believes in confessing your sins to a Priest who will speak to God on your behalf.

Baptist Church- we know we can speak to Jesus Christ directly and do not need a Priest to do so.

If there was only true way to practice the Christian faith...God would only allow one true Christian church. If you single out one church you must single out every sect of the Christian church. Are the Baptists..Presbyterians..Churc­h of Christ...Church of God..churches wrong as well?
